Cressmoor is the largest protected black soil prairie remnant left in Indiana. In late summer, every step will take you past another marvelous plant - prairie blazing star, gray-headed coneflower, Culver’s root, whorled milkweed, tall coreopsis, wild quinine, compass plant, rattlesnake master, prairie dock – some 250 species have been recorded here. Cressmoor is a wonderful and unique destination.
