Dutchman's Breeches
Dutchman's Breeches is a spring wildflower found in moist woodlands. It has multiple white flowers on stalks that rise about highly dissected foliage. The flowers are bilaterally symmetrical and are said to resemble upside-down pants of the sort worn by Dutchmen long ago. The species is reasonably common and occurs throughout Indiana in appropriate habitat.
