Section Six Flatwoods Nature Preserve protects more than 400 acres of what DNR calls “high quality southern lowlands flatwoods”. The trees immediately adjacent to the parking area are young. Instead, look farther west, north of the road, or to the east, south of the road.

Posey County. From IN 62 X IN 69, south 3.6 on IN 69 to Spencer Ditch Rd, then west 4.8 miles to Todd Rd, then south 1.5 miles to Slim Pond Rd, then east ¼ mile to a small lot on the left.
