Ouabache Trails Park

Natural Areas: Ouabache Trails Park

Ouabache Trails is a local park with an extensive and highly branched system of relatively short trails through a variety of habitats, including woods and open areas. It receives heavy use and is not a first choice for those desiring solitude. A railroad track separates the main body of the park from a parcel along the Wabash River. The portion along the river is accessible via a pedestrian underpass, but that underpass is often muddy to the point of impassability. That obstacle seems to reduce the visitor count to the riverside portion somewhat.
