Footbridge

The entrance off Indiana 1 is a small circular drive near a shelter house. A single trail proceeds generally eastward, skirting an open pond, and eventually crossing Bush Creek over a substantial footbridge. The path soon joins the larger trail network, which provides access to more mature woods. Informative signage describes some of the species found here. Trails can be quite muddy, and as spring progresses to summer you may encounter spectacular stinging nettle patches, especially in lower areas. Spring wildflowers are abundant.
