Fawn River Nature Preserve

Fawn River Nature Preserve is a large woodland with an extensive trail network and impressive early spring displays of trillium.

Trails

A long mowed path leads west from the parking area through a field filled with young, struggling trees. Once the entrance trail enters the tree line, the experience is much nicer - a fine recent-growth woods.

Trail

The main path makes its way west, eventually reaching the banks of the very pretty Fawn River, which flows north from here into Michigan.
