Five hundred acres, with old growth forest and a segment of Fish Creek, home to more than thirty mussel species and lots of biting insects. North along lane, then into the dim, trackless interior. No formal trails.

DeKalb County and Steuben County. From the intersection of IN 1 and IN 427 in Hamilton, go south and east for 2.4 miles on IN 1. As IN 1 curves sharply right, continue east 0.4 miles on CR 4A to a sign on the left, and the “parking area”.
