May 7, 2010 The Indiana Department of Natural Resources issued a press release confirming the presence of a mountain lion in Greene County, Indiana. Following persistent reports from local residents of a large cat in the area, DNR set up motion-triggered cameras and caught first one and then another image of the cat as it went about its nocturnal business. DNR can't say for sure whether this cat got here on its own or whether it is an escape. Either way, it's interesting news. One wonders what else is out there.
